Get to know John
Have you ever had a nickname (or two)? If so, what are/were they?
When I was younger – Shotgun, look up the old TV series.
When you were 8 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut. My older brother had taken my two sisters and I on a mock, trip to the moon complete with how oxygen and food would be generated for our stay on the moon. And at that point, we had not even put a man in space yet.
What is one of the most memorable experiences you have had at ALL4?
Being at the award dinner this fall when ALL4 won Second Place as the Best Small Business Places to Work across all of Pennsylvania because it is based on the responses of the employees themselves.
What was the most memorable Halloween costume you ever wore?
A caped-crusader, but not because of the costume.
Stick shift or automatic?
Stick shift – more control and more fun, BUT not if you are driving on the Schuylkill Highway near Philly.
Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
Touched the hand of JFK, not sure that qualifies as met. Spoke with: Alan Watts, author of The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are (I recommend reading it).
Do you have any hidden talents that people you meet would not expect?
I have taken apart and repaired car engines and now have added a plane engine to my list.
What are you known for at ALL4?
Being open to new ideas and ways of doing things.
If you were stranded on an island, what are three things you couldn’t live without?
A phone, pictures of family and friends and music.
What is the most unique thing about working at ALL4?
How everyone, and I do mean everyone, at ALL4 will go way out of their way to help you meet a deadline.
