Career Highlights

Ben started his career at ALL4 as a Staff Engineer in March 2021 and has since been promoted to Project Engineer and joined the Continuous Monitoring Systems (CMS) Tech Team as of January 2023. While at Texas A&M University he was a part of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and a men’s organization, the Aggie Gentlemen of Integrity (AGI). Both of which helped him to gain valuable knowledge and experience that prepared him better for a job at ALL4. Also during his time at Texas A&M, he had an internship during the summer of 2019 that involved him working at a water treatment company, Vortex CHC, that built, installed and maintained their Controlled Hydrodynamic Cavitation (CHC) system for clients.

Get to know Ben

1. Have you ever had a nickname (or two)? If so, what are/were they?

Ben is technically a nickname for Benjamin but I’m not sure that counts since I haven’t been called Benjamin since I was really young. In college, one of my friends gave me the nickname “Too Tall” after Ed Jones, the Dallas Cowboys player from the 70s and 80s. The nickname stuck since, you guessed it, I’m way too tall.

2. When you were 8 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I’m not sure exactly what I wanted to be when I was 8 but I can always remember wanting to grow up and play in the NBA or NFL. I never was quite good enough to achieve my dreams of playing for the Spurs or the Steelers.

3. What about ALL4 has surprised you the most?

How welcoming the Kentucky office and ALL4 as a whole has been. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly from day one.

4. What was the most memorable Halloween costume you ever wore?

I went as Guy Fieri, the Food Network legend, one year and it was incredible. Even though I threw it together last minute at Goodwill it was still a big hit. I took everyone to Flavortown that night!

5. Stick shift or automatic?

I’ve always driven automatic but someday I will definitely learn how to drive stick shift. My dad tried to teach my brother and I in high school and it did not go that well but I’m ready for round 2.

6. Who is the most famous person you have ever met?

I’ve met a few famous athletes, the two most notable would be David Robinson and Antonio Brown. I met Robinson when I was in elementary school at an arcade in San Antonio and I met Brown after a Steelers game at Heinz Field. I was able to get both of their autographs!

7. Do you have any hidden talents that people you meet would not expect?

I can juggle and I can solve a Rubik’s cube pretty quickly. *Unfortunately, I can’t do both at the same time like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6AsllXpKBU *

8. What would you like to become known for at ALL4?

I’d like to become known for being a guy that anyone can go to and will always get quality work or feedback from.

9. If you were stranded on an island, what are three things you couldn’t live without?

Good friends. Good music. Good food.

10. What is the one thing that most attracted you to ALL4?

The people and the culture that was on display when I was searching for a career after graduation. You could really tell ALL4 cares about its employees.
