Career Highlights
Markie’Sha joined ALL4 in March 2025 after graduating from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University with a PhD in Applied Science and Technology with a concentration in Applied Chemistry. Her doctoral work assessed the influence of environmental factors on the chemical composition of aerosols derived from biomass burning fuels. Over the years she has presented her research at regional and national conferences, contributing to the scientific community through peer-reviewed publications and technical reports. Beyond her research, Markie’Sha gained international experience in Belmopan, Belize, through professional collaborations and scientific engagements, expanding her expertise in global environmental challenges. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between scientific expertise and practical applications.

What is the one thing that most attracted you to ALL4?
The culture was quite gravitating! Also, the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and agencies to develop strategies that balance environmental responsibility with operational efficiency.
Have you ever had a nickname (or two)? If so, what are/were they?
My family alternates between “Kee” and “Kiesha” and when they are feeling fancy “Dr.- Daughter, sister, Kiesha”
When you were 8 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I was pretty confident I would be a lawyer.
What was the most memorable Halloween costume you ever wore?
Diner Hostess, there was this diner known for their burgers and milkshakes and I wanted to take pictures there. You know, be in theme. lol
Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
Jennifer Hudson
Do you have any hidden talents that people you meet would not expect?
I am still pretty confident with my clarinet skills.
