Job Description

ALL4 is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our dynamic and growing workforce. An ALL4 Business Development Associate is responsible for generating new clients and new revenue through identifying prospects, cold-calling, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and growing current clients for the purpose of expanding our environmental consulting business throughout the U.S.  This job requires a willingness to cultivate relationships and determine the priorities of the purchasing environment gathered through personal connection, product/service knowledge, and an understanding of the environmental consulting needs of industry. The Business Development Associate is a self-motivated, coachable, growth-oriented individual who is interested in using their excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to connect with new prospects and sell ALL4 services. This individual will have the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to a growing, employee-centric, forward facing company and will report directly to the Sales Director. Business Development Associate Responsibilities

  • Serve potential customers by seeking and defining customers that would benefit from ALL4 services.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on sales prospects and work closely with ALL4 Business Development Consultants to establish new customers and accounts.
  • Identify suspects in the marketplace, define sales opportunities, and differentiate the key attributes of the prospects that ALL4 should pursue.
  • Lead the external reach out process with prospects, including the cold call approach, without the support of an ALL4 Business Development Consultant.
  • Introduce and transition the prospects to ALL4 Business Development Consultants when an opportunity has been identified and the technical fact-finding process begins.
  • Model the ALL4 sales process and inspire stakeholders to do the same.
  • Demonstrate the ability to enroll others into the ALL4 sales process (i.e., Business Development Consultants, subject matter experts, and client managers) and execute the process leading to new client addition.
  • Provide input and advise the Sales Director on the evolution of the ALL4 sales process.
  • Mentor and teach other Business Development Consultants and Associates the ALL4 sales process.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities and enter all sales activity in the ALL4 CRM.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and status reports.
  • Develop ability through self-study and internal ALL4 technical training to explain technical services and products to technically educated buyers.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of environmental drivers, market conditions, and trends.
  • Exhibit ALL4’s core values in all transactions both internally and externally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Business Development Associate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 3 years+ equivalent sales experience with demonstrated success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with executive level management and comfortable making cold calls.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with CRM systems.
  • High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines proactively while working independently.
