1. Have you ever had a nickname (or two)? If so, what are/were they?

Believe it or not, some family members call me “Rob”.

2. When you were 8 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I was a big fan of the Peanuts comic strip, so I wanted to be a cartoonist like Charles Schulz. I wrote him a letter once and received a personal reply with his signature, which was quite a thrill for me then.

3. What about ALL4 has surprised you the most?

ALL4 genuinely values their employees.

4. What was the most memorable Halloween costume you ever wore?

My friend and I dressed up as two of the Marx Brothers for an event at our high school youth group. He was Groucho and I was Harpo. We won the prize for best costume.

5. Stick shift or automatic?

My first cars were stick shift but now all my cars are automatic, which are more suited to California traffic. Still, I miss my old manual transmission cars and have recurring dreams about driving them.

6. Who is the most famous person you have ever met?

I once was standing next to Donald Sutherland but didn’t realize it until someone asked for his autograph.

7. Do you have any hidden talents that people you meet would not expect?

I repair appliances myself whenever possible. My washer and dryer have lasted over 30 years.

8. What would you like to become known for at ALL4?

A reliable employee with a keen attention to detail.

9. If you were stranded on an island, what are three things you couldn’t live without?

My 30+ year-old washer and dryer. Oh, and a pocket knife.

10. What is the one thing that most attracted you to ALL4?

ALL4 had me at “acquisition”, literally. But now that I’m here, I do admire their commitment to high-quality deliverables.
