One Test, Three Submittals: The New Electronic Reporting Rules for Combustion Turbines
What’s the Webinar About?
On January 9, 2026, U.S. EPA finalized a New Source Performance Standard (NSPS) for combustion turbines, creating 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart KKKKa and revising the existing Subparts GG and KKKK. NSPS KKKKa and the revisions to NSPS GG and KKKK now require performance tests, Relative Accuracy Test Audits (RATAs), and periodic compliance reports to be submitted electronically to EPA through the Compliance and Emissions Data Reporting Interface (CEDRI), using the Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT).
It is very important to distinguish that the ERT is NOT just a means to upload an emissions testing report. The ERT requires run-by-run data entry that makes this data highly transparent and readily available for electronic evaluations and analysis. Reporting errors, inconsistencies, or incomplete submissions can result in improper conclusions by regulatory agencies and potentially influence future rulemaking.
In this session, we will break down what actually changed, what must be submitted and when, and why the same test may now require reporting through three separate systems. We will also share how ALL4 develops and reviews ERT submittals, drawing on decades of emissions testing and ERT experience to produce files that are accurate, on time, and faithful to the underlying test data.
