Justin Chen joined ALL4 in September, 2025. Before joining ALL4, Justin interned at Southern California Edison as an IT intern. In his undergraduate and graduate years, he contributed to a multitude of computer science projects including a campus map app and an autonomous vehicle testing platform.

The continuous learning culture and supportive community in ALL4.
When you were 8 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an artist because I was in the replication phase of my art journey and found it extremely fun to draw my favorite cartoons. Then I found video games and my attention definitely strayed from the artist path.
What was the most memorable Halloween costume you ever wore?
The most memorable Halloween costume I ever wore was as a Shaolin Monk. I didn’t shave my head, though that would have made it memorable as well. But it was the first time I ever went trick or treating with my friends instead of with just my parents.
