Dan has more than 25 years of extensive expertise in all areas of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) system (ISO 14001/45001 systems) development, maintenance, conformance and auditing. He focuses on assisting clients in several areas of including:
- Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste management and compliance/ reporting
- EPCRA reporting (Sections 302/ 303, 311, 312 and 313)
- Toxics Use Reduction Act (TURA) reporting/ planning
- Facility response/contingency planning
- Spill, Control and Countermeasures planning (SPCC)
- Hazardous materials compliance and reporting
- Flammable storage and hazardous materials processing permitting
- Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti- Terrorism Standards (CFATS)
- Wastewater permitting and compliance
- Stormwater Pollution Prevention Planning (SWPPP)
- Lead auditor for multimedia compliance/ ISO conformance audits
- Regulatory inspections (EPA, MassDEP, DHS, DPH, FDs) and ISO Registrar audits
