Comment Period Extended for General Permit (GP)-5 and GP-5A

Authors: Roy R.The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) has announced that the comment period for the proposed General Permit 5 (for Natural Gas Compressor Stations, Processing Plants and Transmission Stations) and the proposed General Permit 5A (for Unconventional Natural Gas Well Site Operations and Remote Pigging Stations) has been extended until June 5, 2017. The original 45 day comment period, as announced in conjunction with the publication of the General Permits in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on February 4, 2017, was scheduled to end on March 22, 2017.
