WHAT’S THE WEBINAR ABOUT?

In this virtual conversation, we will provide a high level overview of the implications of the annual PM2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) being lowered from 12 µg/m3 to 9 µg/m3.  The presentation portion of the webinar, which will last about 20 minutes, will cover the upcoming state agency designation process, future nonattainment area permitting implications, attainment permitting challenges, and practical advice on proactive planning steps including what you should be doing now.  The remaining 40 minutes of the webinar will be an open forum for the submittal of questions.  The expert panel will cover as many questions as possible in that window.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Any company with industrial operations that emit PM2.5 or its precursors NOX and SO2.  In particular, those facilities that are defined as major with respect to New Source Review (NSR) and/or Title V Operating Permit requirements are encouraged to attend.

WHY ATTEND?

Understand the proactive steps that you can take to plan ahead for a tightened PM2.5 NAAQS standard.  These steps are designed to pave the way for successful future operating permit renewals and construction permit approvals for your most important capital projects.
