Experienced Hires: Let’s Connect
Whether you’re weighing a move within the EHS consulting industry or considering a career transition into it, we’d welcome the chance to talk. Below is an inside look at how ALL4 invests in your growth, what makes us different, and what to expect if you decide to explore a role with us.
Your Career Ladder at ALL4
We recently expanded our career ladder by adding two new rungs, giving experienced consultants more room to grow in the direction that fits them best.
- More runway at the crossroads: Consultants deciding between a project management track and a technical subject matter expert track now have clearer, more defined paths forward in either direction.
- A new Principal role: Designed for ALL4 leaders and industry authorities who guide the company’s growth, ensure technical excellence, and strengthen our client and market presence.
Training & Development Programs
Growth at ALL4 isn’t left to chance. A few of the programs that support it:
Coaching the ALL4 Way
We operate within a coaching culture — one where every employee, and the organization as a whole, keeps improving. Whether it is guidance and feedback provided by your direct supervisor, or a self-selected cross coach we provide employee with the ability to chart their own path.
Project Management Office (PMO)
The PMO supports both new and seasoned project managers through orientation, onboarding, career pathing, and engagement programs — while advancing the strategies, structures, and systems project managers and business leaders rely on every day.
Leadership Roundtable
A year-long program, led internally by ALL4 leaders, where emerging and experienced leaders alike deepen their knowledge of ALL4’s Foundational Leadership Traits and apply it to their own leadership growth.
Growing Your Brand
As a consultant, your professional brand matters — both inside ALL4 and out in the industry. With a distributed workforce, we lean on visibility to build trust and relatedness: cameras on for our company-wide weekly meetings, project kickoff calls, and technical deep dives.
We also give employees the platforms to build their external profile — through mentorship, training, blogs, conferences, and speaking engagements. Many team members author articles for our weekly publication, 4 The Record, or represent ALL4 at industry events in their region.
Our Interview Process
Our process is thorough by design — we want to genuinely get to know you, and for you to get to know us. Each step helps both sides evaluate fit. ALL4 isn’t the right match for every candidate, and that’s okay; we value the mutual investment either way.
Here’s what experienced candidates can generally expect (steps may vary by role):
- Submit Your Resume — Apply online to get started.
2. Intro Call — A 30–60 minute phone or video conversation covering your career goals, technical expertise, communication style, and relationship-building approach. We’ll also align on salary expectations.
3. Situational Expressions Exercise – Open ended questions on how you’d approach real, sometimes gray-area, situations you’ll encounter at ALL4.
4. Technical Assessment — For experienced candidates, this centers on a realistic client scenario ALL4 might be asked to address — it’s designed to evaluate how you think, not to test recall. There’s nothing to prepare in advance.
5. Site Interview — A half-day visit to one of our offices, giving you a firsthand look at ALL4 and the chance to meet the team you’d be working with.
6. Offer Decision — We debrief as a team and, if we extend an offer, typically walk you through it on a call — covering salary and expectations — before sending a formal offer letter.
7. Offer Acceptance — Congratulations, and welcome to ALL4! Once your acceptance is signed and returned, our HR team will coordinate your onboarding.
* A note for entry-level candidates:
Your Talent Acquisition Team
Recent graduates and other candidates applying for entry-level technical roles also complete a Pre-Screening Exercise (basic technical and mathematical questions typical of Staff and Project Consultant work) and a Situational Expressions Exercise (how you’d approach real, sometimes gray-area, situations you’ll encounter at ALL4). Both are reviewed before the Intro Call is scheduled.
