Early Career

Your first job is about more than getting experience. It’s about discovering what you’re good at, learning from people who want to see you succeed, and building the foundation for the career you want.

Start Your Career Somewhere You Can Make an Impact

Your first job is about more than getting experience. It’s about discovering what you’re good at, learning from people who want to see you succeed, and building the foundation for the career you want.

At ALL4, you won’t spend your first few years waiting on the sidelines. You’ll become part of project teams solving real environmental, health, and safety challenges for real clients—and you’ll have experienced professionals alongside you to help you learn along the way.

Whether you’re still in college, preparing to graduate, or taking the first steps in your career, ALL4 is a place where you can learn, contribute, and grow.

CORE Value – Invest in Others – Train, mentor, and develop individual potential and express appreciation. Serve others. Give generously without exception

Do Real Work From the Start

There’s a big difference between learning something in a classroom and applying it to a real-world challenge. At ALL4, you’ll get opportunities to do both.

Early in your career, you might find yourself analyzing data, digging into environmental regulations, performing technical calculations, preparing client deliverables, visiting an industrial facility, or working with experienced consultants to solve a problem for a client.

You won’t be expected to know everything on day one. You will be expected to ask questions, stay curious, take ownership of your work, and keep learning.

And as your skills and confidence grow, your opportunities will too.

CORE VALUE – Take Action – Be self-directed and solution oriented. Be decisive and adaptable, and work smart.

Learn From People Who Know Their Stuff

Starting a career comes with a lot of questions. That’s a good thing.

At ALL4, you’ll work alongside people with deep technical expertise and years of consulting experience—and you’ll have opportunities to learn directly from them.

Through project work, formal training, coaching, feedback, and everyday collaboration, you’ll develop both the technical and professional skills that can take years to build on your own.

Our goal isn’t simply to teach you how to complete today’s assignment. It’s to help you become a better consultant tomorrow.

CORE Value – Grow Your Business – Be entrepreneurial. Innovate, take risks, and consider the positive financial return. Cultivate opportunities, clients, and relationships.

Build More Than Technical Skills

Technical expertise matters here. But being a great consultant takes more.

You’ll learn how to communicate complex ideas clearly. How to work with clients and teammates. How to manage competing priorities. How to solve problems when the answer isn’t obvious. And how to take ownership of something that has your name on it.

Those are skills you’ll carry throughout your career—wherever that career takes you.

CORE Value – Pursue Excellence – Surpass expectations. Seek challenges. Deliver accuracy and have a sense of urgency.

Find Your People

The people you work with make a big difference, especially at the beginning of your career.

ALL4 is a team of engineers, scientists, technical experts, problem-solvers, and plenty of people who don’t fit neatly into a single category. We take our work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.

You’ll collaborate with people across experience levels, disciplines, offices, and projects. You’ll have people to turn to when you’re stuck, people who challenge you to get better, and people you’ll genuinely enjoy working alongside.

Because building a career should include building relationships, too.

CORE Value – Practice Authenticity – Be open, vulnerable, and transparent. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and candor.

What Can You Expect?

No two weeks in consulting look exactly alike—and that’s part of the appeal.

Depending on your role and projects, you could:

  • Work alongside multiple project managers and technical experts
  • Research and interpret environmental regulations
  • Analyze data and perform technical calculations
  • Help develop reports, permit applications, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits
  • Learn about different industries, facilities, and environmental challenges
  • Develop digital and data-management skills
  • Build relationships with teammates and clients
  • Participate in technical and professional training
  • Take on greater responsibility as your skills develop

You’ll spend plenty of time at your computer. You’ll have deadlines. You’ll occasionally encounter a problem where the answer isn’t obvious. That’s consulting.

But you’ll also have a team around you, opportunities to keep learning, and the satisfaction of seeing your work contribute to something bigger.

CORE Value – Embrace Change – Step into organizational and personal change. Challenge yourself and continuously learn.

Your Career Won’t Stand Still. Neither Will You.

We want people who are interested in becoming really good at what they do.

At ALL4, growth doesn’t have to mean following one predetermined path. As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities to deepen your technical expertise, manage projects, build client relationships, mentor others, explore different service areas, and develop the skills that align with where you want your career to go.

Your first position is just that: a starting point.

CORE Value – Enjoy the Journey – Stay engaged and keep things in perspective. Have fun.
