Career Highlights

Jeli started her career as an engineering geologist providing technical services and management oversight on environmental remediation projects at several US Air Force Bases and the Stringfellow Superfund Site before moving on to managing foundation engineering and seismic investigations for blue water infrastructure projects. She translated her technical and regulatory expertise into becoming a lobbyist and successfully influencing hundreds of laws and regulations on issues including air quality, energy, environment, endangered species, land use, natural hazards, transportation, and water. Jeli was also appointed by Governor Brown to the California State Mining and Geology Board, where she represented the public’s interest in mineral resource management and seismic hazard mapping.
